Make sure the printer is connected to the wifi network
Download and install the printer’s driver online from canon printers drivers.
If the automatic installation does not start, double-click on the driver’s downloaded file to start the installation process.
Press Windows + R to open the run command prompt
Then, enter this command: control/name Microsoft.DevicesAndPrinters
Click on the OK button
The Devices and Printers folder will appear. Click on Add Printer
Follow the instructions given till the very end and press OK
Now you can print a test page wirelessly. Assuming that you did everything right, it will work.
Canon Wireless Printer with MAC
Follow these below steps to properly configure Canon wireless printer with your MAC computer.
Verify that both the devices are powered on
Verify the printer’s connection with the wireless network as mentioned above
Download the printer’s drivers online from Canon’s site.
Go to Apple Menu. Click on System and Preference
On the next screen choose the Printers & Scanners option
After this, click on the + symbol to add a printer
From the next pop-up window, choose your Canon wireless printer
The printer’s name shall appear on the left side once it has been successfully added
And that is it. Your Canon wireless printer is now added to your MAC device.
