  • Then, enter this command: control/name Microsoft.DevicesAndPrinters

  • Click on the OK button

  • The Devices and Printers folder will appear. Click on Add Printer

  • Follow the instructions given till the very end and press OK

  • Now you can print a test page wirelessly. Assuming that you did everything right, it will work.

  • Verify that both the devices are powered on

  • Verify the printer’s connection with the wireless network as mentioned above

  • Download the printer’s drivers online from Canon’s site

  • Go to Apple Menu. Click on System and Preference
